Another year under the belt, altho' you would never know looking at the man.
So Tony, and a select few (okay you want a name check: Milena, Helle, Louise, Carlton and
yours truly) went out to celebrate. The plan was a meal at an African restaurant followed by a trip to the Hippodrome to see up and coming RnB star, Jaheim.
Well, the meal venue changed pretty quickly since the menu seemed to consist solely of cous-cous and stuffed tomatoes. A quick step to Chinatown remedied that situation.
The Hippodrome was okay, the J man can hold a tune. More eventful tho' was bumping into Neil, on old friend from way back, who was helping to control the door. Tony, Neil and I spent much of the evening swapping tales of big city life, and remininising about the good ol' days back in Oxford.
